We offer Sedation Dentistry
Nitrous Oxide: Nitrous oxide, otherwise commonly known as “laughing gas,” is one of the most common types of sedation offered at our practice. It is a mild gas that the patient will inhale through a comfortable nose mask. This gas will help put you at ease and will provide a relaxing, calming effect during your appointment. One of the main benefits of nitrous oxide is that this wears off very quickly, allowing you to return to your everyday activities without any grogginess.
Is Sedation Dentistry Safe?
At Valley View Dental, your safety is always our top priority. Sedation and other forms of anesthesia are considered safe for use and have been used for several years in the dental field. You can feel confident knowing that our team is highly trained and experienced in administering certain levels of sedation–always keeping your safety and comfort in mind. For your safety and health, we ask that you disclose any current medications or medical issues to us prior to your procedure.
